Gift/Special Treat for Grandparents in DW?

Hello! First time poster here...love this site.

I was hoping someone could help me out. My in-laws and my parents have helped me out tremendously w/ my 2 young children...we're planning a huge family vacation with them to WDW in mid-March.

I thought it would be great if we could treat them all to something really special, but I don't know what. THey have the meal plan, so I can't surprise them w/ great dinner reservations...I have no idea what else to do! Does Disney do something where you could send a special treat (champagne, chocolates or whatever) to their room? Any ideas???

It sounds like there will be at least 8 of you on the trip. If so, you could do a grand gathering experience and do the wishes fireworks cruise...I think it would only be your party on the boat since you have a grand gathering. Not too sure of the details exactly b/c we've never traveled with a big party, but you could call Disney and they can give you all of the details. It sounds really awesome and I'd love to do it myself, but we only have a party of 3!!

We ordered personalized Disney polo shirts from disneystore.com for my parents when we took them to WDW - personalized with "Grandma" and "Grandpa" (they ran small, BTW). They got a kick out of CMs and others calling them Grandma and Grandpa throughout the day in the park!

I think the most special thing you can do for them is to get a silhoutte done of your kids. It doesn't cost much (only about $12/framed for 1 person), but it will make you cry. They use the little itty bitty scissors to cut out the profile and lay the black paper on a white background. You get 2 prints for $12 I think and then you can buy the frame for $6? You can have 1 or more people in it. I had my DD's done at MK, one on Main Street, the other in Liberty Square. You will also one ones for yourself. I love it love it love it!
