Gift shop quick question

Hi guys!
We're going in 11 days (oh my gawd oh my gawd) on our first trip! I canNOT wait to hit the shops. Does anyone know if you can get stuff shipped directly from the shop, or should I just plan on heading to the post office before we fly home?

You can get them ship directly to your house. I did this with three different purchases in Aug. They all came with a week. to a week and a half.

My first trip was just so wonderful ... months and months later I still feel the magic ... once I got over the depression of having to leave!

I now have them ship everything back to the resort. Then on my last morning, everything gets shipped in one shot from there. It was probably cheaper to have one package sent then 10 smaller ones. The boxes arrived 3 days later via Fed-ex ground, after I was unpacked and the laundry was all done.

They can send it to your house straight from the shop. And they wrap the breakables to a fare-thee-well!!!

This feature is really nice if you're buying big stuff...like 3 large blankets in Mexico...no way I could have packed those without buying another suitcase!

When we went I had alot of stuff shipped back home from the shops. They charge you a UPS shipping fee but since we live in OKlahoma there wasn't any tax so it paid off to ship. We received everything within 2 weeks and when one thing came broken I called the number on my receipt then faxed the receipt to them and they shipped another out immediately. This is the way to go if you don't need your item immediately.

You will need to write up a slip with your address on it, so if I know I'm going to be shiping home (we do it a lot, too) I'll ask the CM for the slip and fill it out, out of the way of other customers so that other folks can check out without having to wait for me. Once the slip is filled out, I get in line, and my purchase goes along nicely!
