Gift Problems

I was wondering if any of you had a problem that I had.

I have a gift glitch. I would fill out the card for friend, place the item in my inventory with others that were filled out. When I gave the gift to my friend, it was not the gift that I clicked on in my inventory that had their card. I had several gifts in my inventory, but you would think I could click on the gift see the card to gift then place it down. When I placed it down it was another's gift. Sometimes I created doubles for individuals because I had left that gift for someone else and could not find theirs in my inventory knowing I did it. So I wasted several gifts.

In addition, sometimes a gift would say "wrote on" even though it was never touched. I would then take it to another room of mine and was able to write on it.

This was so frustrating that I completely stopped messing with the gifts. I know of at least two others individuals who had an issue.

I think the resolution to my problem is to create a gift card for a gift then only maintain that gift in my inventory and deliver it. Slow process, but I have gifts to give. So to my friends, I have some gifts to deliver today or tomorrow. I apologize for the delay.

Just curious to hear others thoughts if you had similar issues.

Yes, this happened to one of our mutual friends and I'm so glad you both were able to figure out a fix. I know he was very frustrated at gifting his friends presents that only said, "wrote on" until the next day when it reverted back to a brand new, never written on gift. Now, he too, writes them, holds them in his 'pockets' and delivers them one at a time.

Out of probably 60 gifts I had issues with this or other things about 6 times. None said wrote on but I delivered at least one wrong and it was returned, Irecieved about 6 wrong and one not filled out. I had Three go missing so I had to make another. On those can't be possitive I did not give it out wrong, but i made a gift for those people that was also gone. Over all I liked the gifts, I with there was another delivery meathod. I have many friends that were gone for the holidays or only visit occationaly as well as a few that are not on my list. I do give the gifts thumbs up though,

Geepers I am too simple minded for all that

I kept them in an empty room and picked them up one by one so as to not make a mistake

Time consuming but everybody got theirs..

I delievered a few wrong ones but over all I would say a big success. Those that got wrong ones were kind enough to point it out with a uh? ROFL So that was my cue to trade it back and try again lol
