Gift Ideas For Young Men

I gave my son movie tickets, and a ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood with parking. I also gave his girlfriend a Universal Studios ticket since Harry Potter Land is coming out. He also lost some weight (he's already in good shape, but wanted to get fitter) so am giving him gift certs to a couple of department stores to shop for clothes. I also got him a scarf and gloves with the touch-screen fingertips.

Grad school son here: He is getting wireless beats for his apple watch, a docking station for that watch, a polo shirt of his collage, a nike hoodie and pillows. Took his list and went on line and did it all but the pillows in a matter of minutes. This is the first year of no video games. He has lost interest. Now DS9 is NOT happy he is not getting any games as that is less new games for him to play!

I find this is always the hardest group to buy gifts for. You have many good suggestions here; I'll try to give you a few more I don't think were mentioned, depending on his interests and what he may already have:

- new sneakers, work boots or hiking boots
- high quality headphones
- sports watch with stopwatch
- jersey from his favorite sports team
- electric shaver/beard trimmer
- mini printer to print photos from smartphone
- a good pair of sunglasses
- a carry-on size spinner suitcase or other nice piece of luggage
- a GPS for the car
- a comfy featherbed or memory foam mattress topper
- guitar/guitar lessons
- Leatherman tool or Swiss Army knife
- poker chip set
- a good telescope (not a toy)
- fishing rod
- tent or other camping equipment
- mountain bike

If he has his own place or will soon:
- a George Foreman grill, panini/sandwich maker, or waffle iron
- Keurig coffee maker
- tools- cordless drill, screwdriver, etc.
