I need help from the experts! My 20DD is in college majoring in graphics design/photo and will move on to get a BS in Advertising next year. She takes a lot of pix of her friends and has used the studio at the college, and we live close to a beach. So....I want to get her something useful for Christmas and yet we have a $150 max per kid budget since we are also traveling as part of our holiday gift. She has a Canon Rebel, and she is a whiz with Photoshop CS.

I've considered possibly some type of lighting/backdrop kit, or maybe there is a lens for her camera that would be better? Or something else I haven't even considered?? Any ideas? :surfweb: :santa:

Does she have a Wacom tablet. Graphic artists and photographers use them with CS3

I was thinking what I had and really liked for about that $ figure:
the academic upgrade to CS4;
a really dark ND filter to take those motion blur shots in daylight;
a really good multi-coated polarizer;
a RRS clamp for the camera and tripod (maybe over $$$);
a Zenitar 16 fisheye lens (only semi-fisheye on crop cameras);
some good books on photography (Rocky Nook or Ansel Adams);

Thanks for the ideas, I have some research to do now! :yay:
