A friend of mine and her now fiancee are headed to Disney World at the end of November for about a week.
I want to have a small gift sent to their room for them - but I don't want to do flowers or anything like that.

Suggestions that won't break the bank??

Tough one. I keep telling my fiancee I should get into a business of putting together baskets for the budget friendly people to deliver to Disney. :) I live within mins to Disney so it wouldn't be so hard for me to get the items.

I know there's Memories by Betsy. Some of her baskets are pricey but you can check her site to see if you can find anything.

What about purchasing them a carriage ride? That'll be romantic & memorable for them. You can make the reservations but it looks like they only accept cash or room cards. Maybe you can hand them the cash in a card and write 'Surprise, I'm purchasing you a romantic ride for two'. If you want more info check the below link:

Huge fan of Feralpeg's baskets. She made us a great one for my 4 children with all different interests and makes it all cute.
I hope it's ok for me to post the link

I'll try to find the photos of our basket but I was very pleased with it. She has specific things on the website but will also shop for whatever you want. She found a bunch of stuff at Tren-D for me.

Do you know if they're staying at a WDW resort and if it has private dining? If so, I ordered chocolate covered strawberries when we were staying at the Poly. I called private dining 24 hours in advance and they were in our room the next evening when we came back from the park. I paid about $30 for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and they put a marbled white chocolate conch shell on the plate filled with M&M's and other chocolate decorative pieces and a message written in chocolate. It was beautiful. Just an idea if they happen to be staying at a resort with Private Dining. I would call that resort's specific private dining phone # (can be found on www.allearsnet.com) to see what they could do.
