Help please! I have no idea what to buy my 13 year old step-brother for Christmas. He lives several states away so I don't really know him all that well nor do I know what he already has. He is into football, video games and spends a lot of time RV camping. It needs to be less than $20. I am at a complete loss. Anyone have ideas that can steer me in the right direction? Thanks!

Find out what his favorite football team is and go to one of the sports stores at your nearest mall and get him a flat-rimmed baseball hat with his team on it. They run about $24.95, so you'd have to go over your $20 a bit.

If he has an x-box- live points card. If he has a PS3- playstation network card. either can be had for $20.

My sons are about that age and also love CG's to fast food places. Then they can buy junk food when I won't. :thumbsup2

regards

A book and $10 GC to a fast food place? What about a nerf gun? My son is 12 and a half, he enjoys getting shower stuff (gels, soaps, etc...) and also likes Legos, nerf guns, comics, and the almighty XBOX stuff (ugh LOL)

My son is 13 and loves anything video game related. A new controller, a cheap game (some older games can be found for about $20 and you'd be surprised how much fun they are), a game card, or gift card to Game Stop or local store that rents games.

Last year as an after thought I got him an Axe gift set with shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, and body spray. I was surprised by how much he liked that one. 13 year old boys are just starting to care about what girls think of them. Smelling nice is a big deal. ;)

If he has an Ipod, I touch, or an Ipad or an Iphone, an Itunes gift card is always appreciated!

My 14 year old grandson loves his Skull Candy head phones, not the ear buds but the big ones that go over his ears. They have some on Amazon starting around $28 but they have sports teams for a bit more.

I second these headphones. DS13 loves them.

Cheap things under $20 I'm getting DS13 for stocking stuffers.

* Beef Jerkey (I won't buy it often as I can't stand the smell)
* Bag of Hot Fries (sell this in the supermarket for 99 cents
* Starburst
* Sour Patch Kids candy
* Instant Lottery Scratch Offs (yes, I know you're supposed to be 18yo, but if he wins anything, I'll redeem the ticket/tickets for him. You could buy him $10 or $15 worth of those. They sell them for a dollar each. They even have holiday - themed ones...I saw them yesterday. DS13 loves them!

You could get a GameStop gift card in any $$ amount. We'll be giving him a big one.

Ds13 would LOVE an Axe basket - he keeps putting the products on my grocery list, and can't understand why I am not buying him his Axe shampoo and body wash (Christmas is coming....). He loved flat caps, and xbox points are appreciated, as well. He would love gc's to restaurants around the middle school, great for those 1/2 days.

Came back to say the Amazon has the Skull Candy UPROCK headphones starting at $17! Picked up a pink pair for DD10 for $23 and she will be pretty thrilled.

My DS is 13 and he loves AXE products. He plays basketball and needs a duffel bag. Last year his aunt gave him the Guinness Book of World Records and that was a big hit with all the boys there.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I was able to pick up a leather wallet at a super deal while I was out shopping in the wee hours this morning. I'll stick a small gifcard in it and call it a day.

Thanks again!
