My family has been invited to a brunch following an adult baptism. Now, when we are invited to an infant baptism, we bring a gift.
What do we do when it's for an adult???

I would bring a little gift. I think that is a wonderful thing to celebrate. How about a gc to a religious bookstore? Or maybe donate flowers on the altar dedicated to them or for something else in the church.

A friend of mine was baptised about 4 years ago. For her party I brought a gift. I think for her I gave her a gift certificate to her favorite Christian bookstore.

A gift certifiacte to a reliogious store would be nice. Also, how about a statue of her favorite saint(if you know which one that is)or her namesake saint(if she is named after one). When my goddaughter made her First Communion, I did a whole Mary/Blessed Mother thing, because her name is Mary. It was very nice. I got her a statue, 2 books about Mary, and a little card with all the Mary prayers on it.

i do not, but it is your choice:)
