Gift cards

Does anybody know if Disney gift cards can be used to pay off the wedding packages? My grocery store gives .10 cents off of every $50 (sometimes .20 cents) and it would be awesome to get that much free gas! Thanks in advance!

When we got engaged we got $50 in Disney gift cards but were told we couldn't use them towards our wedding package.

We just got our LOA from Disney and it states that gift cards can not be used as payment on it.

But if you are honeymooning at all at Disney you can use gift cards for everything else, including your room! To save up for our trip, DH and I each buy a gift card just about every pay period. We use our Target Red Card to save 5%. We use them for meals, souvenirs, snacks and to pay on the room. You can even use them to add tip at TS meals.

So, if you are staying at Disney for your honeymoon or at least for a few days with the wedding, you might want to purchase some. It won't be as much free gas as paying for the wedding, but I bet you could get some significant fuel savings!

Yeah I was planning to buy gift cards to pay for the hotel and park tickets and some for souvenirs We have a truck that cost insane amount of money to fill up so the more free gas the better!
