Gift cards in White Caps?

I have a friend who likes a particular liquor that she can't find in the states. Recent lists from White Caps show that it might be available on board in the Duty-Free shop. My question is whether or not she could purchase Disney gift cards that I could then use to purchase her liqours at White Caps? Has anyone had success using a gift card there? It seems like it wouldn't be an issue, but I wanted to double check. Also are there limits on certain items purchased? I've never shopped in the Duty-free shop on board.
