Gift Cards From Cardpool or Giftcard Granny?

Has anyone purchases gift cards from cardpool.com or Giftcard Granny?

I was thinking about purchasing Target Gift Cards at the 6% off rate, getting an additional 1% cash back on my credit card that way, and then turning around and using them to buy Disney Cards, effectively saving 7% total.

Too complicated? Is cardpool reputable?

GiftcardGranny.com was mentioned (positively) in an AARP article, but that is all I know about them.

I've purchased before from Cardpool and it has worked successfully. Last time they gave me a call to verify that I was a real person before completing the transaction. I also received a receipt in the mail for an electronic gift card.

Whether Target will allow you to purchase a gift card with a gift card, I'm not sure. It doesn't look like they'll allow you to use your Red card, then pay the bill with a gift card.

Thanks for the replies. I have successfully purchased Disney Gift cards in the past using Target cards; just trying to decide if an extra $20 or so is worth the hassle.

I have used both and they work fine but it is difficult to find Disney.

Giftcardgranny does not actually sell cards. They show you all of the gift cards available for sale on other sites. I have used Cardpool several times with no problems and always check with GCG to find the best deal

And if you go through TopCashBack (site similar to ebates), you get 2% back on your first $1,000.00 of purchases at cardpool. So the deal gets a tiny bit sweeter.

I haven't used cardpool before, but I've used plastic jungle and ABCgiftcards. Never had a problem, but if there is an issue I figure I can use my credit card purchase protection.

I have used Cardpool many times (though not for Target cards) and have had nothing but excellent service.

One time I had a problem with the cards (I went to use them and they showed no value ) and Cardpool handled the issue very quickly.

I use many gift card sites, among those the two you mentioned. There are many more and I've always had good service from all.

I tried out Cardpool for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was a little nervous after having seen some less than glowing reviews so I only spent a small amount (just under $25) and made sure to use a credit card (vs a debit card), but everything went well.

I placed my order on Wed March 6th. The card was in my mail box the following Monday. I didn't get around to using it until yesterday, but it worked just fine.

Has anyone ever used eCardExchange? I have never used any type of these sites so I am a little nervous but like the discount.
