Gift Cards for tipping?

My sister gave DH and I Disney gift cards for our birthdays. Can I use them for tipping on the dining plan?

We plan on charging everything to our room keys and using the gift cards to settle the bill at the hotel.

Yup, if you charge "whatever" to your room key, go to pay it off at front desk at any time with your gift card.
If you want to run a tab and then pay it ALL off before check out, just be sure to give enough time the night before, so they have not billed the credit card you left.
Have a great trip. I am doing the same thing with one of my gift cards!
