gift cards for kids counselors?

I know that many cruisers give Walmart giftcards and phone cards as a thank you to the kids counselors because the bus goes there, but can they also use Target gift cards? It's on the way. What about the stores at the Merritt Square Mall (like Bath and Body Works) or the restaurants there? I thought I had read that CMs can get to the mall but can't find anything about it.

How many counselors should we plan to tip with gift and/or phone cards? How many CM's in the club/lab will we and our child be interacting with? Don't want to leave anyone out...

The former manager of the kids club said that all gift cards are pooled & used for drawings a their crew meetings. One suggestion that they enjoy is candy. If you look for misconceptions & myths about the kid's club there will be more specific info.

There's a Walgreens at Merritt Square also. CM can get personal products as well as soda, candy, etc.

I did see that thread, but we'll be on the two-week repo cruise and I wanted to give them something in addition to candy that was small and easy to pack to say thanks for being there for my DS for that long. It seems like everyone gives Walmart cards, and while I know the CMs appreciate them, I thought they might like some variety.
