Gift Cards at Snack Kiosk?

My kids have been saving their coins for a while now. I thought it would be easier for them to trade the change in for a gift card. I know that they were hoping to use their money for snacks, and most of the snacks that they would want, are from those kiosk kind of things. Popcorn, ice cream, cotton candy, etc...

Can you use a gift card at those kind of places?

Last August I used a Disney gift card at an ice cream kiosk right outside of the Under the Sea Nemo ride in Epcot. Most kiosks now have CC machines to accept cc and KTTW cards, so they can accept Disney Gift cards also.
