Gift Cards and Refunds

I know a lot of us use the the strategy of gift cards to save on the exchange rate. Does anyone have a sense of what happens in a case like this where there will be a refund issued? Do you need to keep all the old gift cards so the funds can be put back on those cards?

Yes, that is my understanding. I have always read that the refund is processed back to the original form of payment. I would definitely make sure to confirm to be sure though.

Yes, I have same question. I have all the cards but now with the exchange rate tanking we will be making money and the cards can only have a max value of $1000.

Tried calling to get more info but I should have known better bc I was on hold for over 30mins and had to go.
