Gift Card question

I know this is really paranoid, but has anyone had a problem mailing gift cards? I just feel weird mailing, well, basically, cash, through the mail. My DH wants me to just mail some relatives their gift cards because he doesn't want to drive the two hours to deliver (long story) this weekend and we are leaving Xmas Eve for a family vacation.

Has anyone had a problem with people not getting them? They seem kind of bulky to send through the mail. Tell me I am just being paranoid and to just send them!!

I've never had a problem sending them but I do understand your hesitation. I'm always afraid they won't make it.

I send them all the time. I put them inside a card inside an envelope inside another an evelope to try to mask what they are.
