Gift Card Promo Question

My dh is looking to change the dates from our current ressies since our kids are involved in football playoffs and basketball when we are currently booked. We're looking at going in the gift card promo window and this is what I came up with...

PO Riverside for 2 Adults, 3 teens (adults), a child, and a baby
@ 3562.90 with $1000 in gift cards

OR

POP for the same party as above for 2825.47 with $600 in gift cards.

That is assuming that I will get double giftcards with booking two rooms, correct?

Which one is the better deal? My brain is mush tonight and I've went back/forth over this :sigh:

If you are using the GC for stuff you would buy anyway- food, ticket upgrades etc I am just subtracting the value from the price and figuring that you prepaid your vacation so

POR- 3562-1000 = 2562 for room and basic tickets also is closer to MK and Epcot, better pool, slightly larger room and fridge.

POP-2825-600 = 2225 the difference is 337 between the 2. Not sure how many days you are doing but only you can decide if the perks of a Mod are worth the extra money.

I would check your reservation bill to see if you are getting 2 cards or only 1 if not I would make 2 separate reservations.

Also have you consided a cabin it would hold 6 people and a baby and rates are 270-325 depending on when you are staying might be cheaper then either. You would only get 1 GC but you would get a full kitchen to do meals at least breakfast. Plus you could keep an eye on all those teenagers.

I would say the Pop deal because although you're getting $400 more in gift cards, you're paying $700 more to get it. If you brought $400 spending money and spend all of it plus use up the entire value on the $600 gift card (assuming like you said that you get 2 $300 ones), you would spend $3200 vs spending $3500 to get $1000 spending money.
