Gift card instead of Credit card

Do you think I would be able to give a Gift Card (not Disney gift card) number in place of a credit card to secure and ADR? Would they know the difference? I will have a few hundred dollars on the gift card?

I would say no as you can't guarantee that there will be funds on the gift card.

Like a Visa gift card? I have a one of those reloadable Visa gift cards that someone gave me as a gift that I used to book my ADR's and pay for the Wishes dessert party.

You are unable to guarantee reservations with a gift card. You can, however, use them to pay for Dinner Shows and CRT.
