Gift card for reservations

In just 34 days I can start making our reservations. Is there a way I can pay for tours and dessert part and Fantasmic dining. All things that have to be prepaid. Is there a way I can use a gift card for all of this? If so how?

I know you can't for dining - I chatted on the app to ask and the reason given was "they don't take gift cards in case of cancellations and refunds". Annoying since you CAN call in and use gift cards for those things at WDW - you just get a reminder to hold onto the gift card in case of cancellations and refunds.

I'm going to guess tours are the same - you can at WDW, but since DL seems to not be able to figure out how to do cancellations with refunds to gift cards (or tell people to hold onto the gift card), I'm going to guess it's a no.

At least in DL and DCA yes. I don’t know about Downtown Disney.
