The Biowash ball in your post made me curious, so I looked it up. Does that thing really work? I live out in the country and work with dogs and horses so we have "real" dirt (as opposed to city dirt ). My curiousity has been aroused as to whether it would really work on clothes that were actually dirty (if you understand what I mean).

I have been getting lots of discounted GC lately from cardpool (they buy and sell GCs). Most restaurants are available on average at 10% off face value. Note, these may not be the best actual gifts however, as they scratch off the pin number to verify the value before they sell them, and you get no card design choice. But if you are getting them to use yourself its a good way to save a little money. They have lots of regular stores also (Old navy, kohls), so its like getting an extra % off there to. All those little drops in the bucket add up over time!

Once in a blue moon they get a Disney GC for 10% off, but they are always gone in seconds.
