Hello,

I am making a gift basket for someone who is getting surgery and will be home but pretty much confined to bed/couch. I have some ideas of what to put in the basket but does anyone have a cute way to present it? I was just going to get a regular old basket but since its not a child and I wont be getting anything really related to "get well" ( I recieved one as a child with a boo-boo bear ,etc.) I thought maybe there was a more creative way to present it. I plan on putting word search/cross word books in, a new dvd, some candy, a hand-held game, magazine...any other suggestions?

Also, my 11 yr old brother no long plays with toys at all. He is recieving a wii for christmas and games and thats it from my parents. I plan on just getting him gift cards and passes for bowling, movies etc....any ideas how to present this? I have heard of hanging them all on a little christmas tree and was going to go with that but wanted to see if anyone had cute ideas. I dont just want to hand him a card with 3 or 4 gift cards and activity passes.

Thanks!

The only thing I can think of right now for the surgery basket is to put it in a rolling bucket or one of those rolling carts with the shelves so she can move it around her chair?? Not very creative, I know.

For your brother, wrap the cards up in big boxes, wight them down with books, rocks, etc. Put things in there so it makes noise if shaken, etc. All this is providing you aren't mailing these to him :lmao:.
