Hey everyone!!!

I'm thinking about making up gift bags for the 13 guests who are attending my august intimate wedding. I"m hoping to spend no more than $20 a piece. What kinds of things would you put in it to make it memorable for the guests? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

I am doing the same thing. So far I have itinerary, poncho, disposible camer and cover, magical gathering pin, a few sample toiletries, treats (princess) because the theme is Cinderella, carrige picture frame, and something person for each person.

We are doing the same thing too...since we are getting married at the Polynesian, we are going to get a mini snowglobe of the Poly! We are also going to include a bottle of champagne (bought off propert) some disney glasses, box of chocolate, frame and whatever else catches our eye. We are going to make it more of a welcome bag and have it delivered to the rooms!

olsen: where did you find the snowglobes of the poly? we'd love to see those.

I am curious - what if you have guests staying in different hotels. Do you actually bring them to the hotels yourself? Is there a charge to have them brought to the hotel rooms.

Thanks!

we're using the 4 hour limo to get our marriage license, then drop off our welcome bags at the respecive resorts.
another option you have is to hand them out at the welcome dinner if you are having one.

I just saw something that I thought would be cute for those of you that are doing gift bags. Oriental Trading Company had several kinds of bags that were 12 for 8.95-15.95. These would be cute to but the items in. I am getting collapsabile coolers to put items in, I found some really cute ones at Big Lots. Then they can use them during the trip. I am handing them out at a small dinner we are having the night everyone arrives.

has anyone done this for a curtom wedding????? We are having about 60 guests (most of them are couples) and they are staying at a bunch of different resorts & some of them are even getting there befor us! Would it be weird to give them a gift bag a day or 2 after they have already been there? Or to cut some costs do you think I could just give them to my close family? also, for those of you that are flying there did you ship everything down or did you bring it with you? I relly want to do this for everyone but DF & I can't figure a way to do it!! Please HELP!

Well I did welcome bags for my guests and most of them I got delivered to them on the day they arrived but some of them had to wait until the rehearsal dinner before they got their bags.

I had stuff shipped directly to FL and then I packed the bags themselves and then bought a load of stuff at Target and Disney Outlet store to put in the bags.

We had 40 guests and I did a bag for each couple so it worked out about 25 bags and I think all in all they cost us about $300.

We had 50 gift bags to give out and delivered them ourselves. Unfortunately, we had a hard time meeting up with everyone (especially those who stayed off Disney grounds) so some couples didn't receive their bags until the day of the wedding.

Our gift bags included:
2-mile two-way radios (I started shopping early and found great sales at Best Buy and Circuit City...got most for 4.99, 9.99 and 11.99)
Half-bottles of wine (approx. $5.00)
Bottled water (bought in bulk at the local BJ's Wholesale Club)
Disney Fruit Snacks (split one box between multiple bags)
Disney Band Aids (split one box between multiple bags)
Individual Packets of Tylenol (approx. $.99 for 2 packets)
Alka Seltzer (bought a box and put the individual packet in each bag)
Travel Size bottles of Aloe Vera (approx. $.99)
Lip Balm with SPF (bought 3-packs for $2.00 and put 1 in each bag)
Potato Chips and Cookies (snack-size bags bought in bulk at the local BJ's Wholesale Club)

I think all of your ideas are wondeful!! I am going to be having approx. 100 guests, and I am thinking about doing something as well... Its so nice for all of you to share such grea ideas!
