My family is going to Disney on June 2nd and we are driving. I wanted to do something special for my 8 year old son. I wanted to get something like a gift bag with goodies! I am going to put some disney dollars, hidden mickey book, and disney for kids book. Any other suggestions (we are driving from Indiana, so it will be a loooooong trip!!).

Thanks!!!

At Cracker Barrel, my DD picked up a Farmers Alminac. In it, there is a page to check off license plates(states). She take this anytime we travel. It has some other activities in it as well. I think this was a free book (Mom was with her when she got it).

We are driving-10 hours or so-and have a lap top w/ a DVD. We will rent movies to take with us, and that will keep them busy most of the time. Does he like word finds? How about video games(hand held)? How about a disp. camera that he can use once you arrive? Hmmm...my kids like to draw, color, read, and sleep in the car. Of course like ALL siblings, they argue, too lol. :scared1:

HTH,
Wendi

How about a camera to record his trip? A Guest of Honor Badge with his name on it; a fat pen to get autographs, some of those pop-up washcloths r T-shirts with Disney characters on them (the kind you soak in water and they expand), a Disney character watch (Wal-mart usually carries them for $6 or $7)
