We plan to grab some cookies at the beginning of our trip. Does anyone have experience with the wait times if you line up before they open? We hope to park in the Lime parking garage when it opens at 9 and go in. Thanks

Unfortunately it really depends on the day. We arrived at 9:55 once and there was no line at all. We've arrived at 9:00 and the line was already down in front of Morimoto Asia. I'm guessing your best bet is a weekday but it really varies a lot.

If there is a line back to the corner it can take about 30 minutes once they open. If you arrive later they may have started using the call-back, and that can take hours, but at least you don't have to stand there. Of course, tehre will be a short line when you return, but it's usually not quite as long.

Just my experience from a week ago- went on a Monday early afternoon. Wasn’t a terribly busy time at the parks and it was pretty hot.

1:30 got in line
1:45 got inside
1:48 outside with treats in hand 😁

That’s a lot our experience from a week or so ago. I don’t remember the exact day but we went by in the afternoon and the wait was maybe 15 minutes.

Our last visit we went to the location near Winter park, we were only ones in line and it was lunchtime.

Thanks! We have a beach day planned before we start our Disney trip and I'm thinking of doing the other location so I don't have to worry.
go on a Monday or Tuesday - much better than the weekend!
I wish we could. We are going to the beach before we start our Disney trip and I wanted to take them with us. Unfortunately it's on a Saturday. Has anyone been to the other location?

While they are good, I feel they don't live up to the hype (or the price). There are a lot of other options to choose from that are a better deal.

My husband has picked up from there for me. Advantage of being able to place order ahead of time. Disadvantage is their best cookie imo is the morning only Coffee Cake cookie (basically just a really good snickerdoodle) is only at Disney Springs.

Friends of ours were there at the beginning of July & they went twice in the mornings. They said they waited 30-35 minutes the first time at shop opening & the second time around 15minutes. I guess it depends on the day on how long the line will be. They did say they believed the line got busier in the afternoons from what the saw.

We’ve gone to the other location. Quick and easy in and out. If you have that option, I agree that’s the best guarantee of no waiting in line.

ok,,,I am always up to try others and new...what do you suggest? Not a fan of summer house

I agree, to me they aren't worth the wait. I thought the inside of the store was really cool, reminded me of Harry Potter but the cookies were just ok, not worth the wait to me or DH. I'm guessing I'm probably in the minority here but just not worth the wait and I don't think I would go out of my way to buy them again.

If your only option is a Saturday, I would definitely go to the other location. We went on a Saturday morning in September last year (a quiet time at Disney) and by 10am it was a 4 hour wait. I thought it was exaggerated so we joined the VQ. Well, we didn't spend 4 hours there and had to get going to make our flight. I forgot and about 4.5 hours later I got the text that it was our time to return! I let them know we would not make it. I was very surprised because we had been there on a weekday evening a few days prior and it was a 15 minute line, no VQ.

For us the cakes and the Gideon’s Bites are definitely worth the wait. The cookies perhaps not as much.

If you have a car, definitely go to the non-Disney Springs location. You can either pre-order or just walk in with a short line.

Same with us about a week or so ago. Our wait was maybe 20 minutes but at that same time around 1:30 it was the shortest wait we have ever seen at Gideons
