Do I need to go to the shop in the AM to get in the virtual queue ? I don't want to waste a park morning standing in line for a cookie. Last time we were at DS it was 11pm and the line was insane. No car so not going into Orlando. Thanks

Yes, you can only join the queue in person. I've never had to use the virtual queue as the regular line was short enough to wait (15 minutes at most).

You do have to join it in person, but they aren't always using it. We waited 15 minutes the other night and they were not using the queue. I've seen the wait as long as 4 hours (virtual) and as little as 10 minutes (just stand in line).

I personally love the cookies but we only join the queue if we are planning to have dinner/shop at DS already and can do what we planned to do while we wait on our turn.

Fyi, the virtual queue is only available on weekends per Gideon’s employees and not always then since they weren’t using it on a Saturday in June when we had Homecomin’ brunch adrs. We decided to wait it out - it wasn’t our first attempt on this trip - and it started raining heavily which caused half the line to leave.

Thank you ! maybe it will be quiet enough in November to not need the queue , I didn't realize it was on as as needed basis !
