Yes, I do believe that ghosts exist. Ghosts scare me. I know they can't hurt me.

No, if I did I would be terrifed and wouldn't post about it.

I don't believe in spirits or ghosts. I don't really believe my dead family "is looking over me."

I think my grandpa is looking over me. I sure do!
alright, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but wen i was llittle, i used to talk to a ghost, and he sat on my window thingy, and he had a long white beard, and a cloak on. I know i sound crazy!!! :yay: :cheer2:

Yes. My great aunt died over five years ago. I've known my best friend for eight. They NEVER met eachother. And didn't know the other existed. One day, my best friend walks up to me, and accurately describes my aunt. Everything from her appearance, to what her voice sounded like. And this friend was 100% accurate. And one day, this friend saw my aunt standing near me. I felt her standing near me. On my right side.

As a matter of fact, I feel her standing near me. On my right side. And when I "feel" her, she's always standing by my right side.

You don't. My grandpa died when I was four. According to my grandma, I talked to him, a lot.

That Christmas, my grandma sent a white balloon up to Heaven for my grandpa. She didn't tell anyone about it. The next morning, I called her and told her what Santa brought for me. In the middle of my list, I told her, "Oh, and grandpa told me to say that he got the white balloon." And then I continued naming what I got.

That's pretty cool.
Our neighbor who died in October who we we're friends with,is alway's in our house. When we all fight and argue he turns up this plasma screen tv that we got from his mom full blast. And he tend's to hide stuff aswell.:p

My mom can see the spirits in our house and ghosts. This may sound crazy but we have a sorta portal in our house, that's where we think all the ghosts come from.

I kinda believe, but the thought freaks me out a little.
I don't want to think that dead people are watching me.

of course I believe in ghosts!! Haven't you been to the haunted mansion? the hitch hiker is still following me around.

lol, no for real, I do. a little while after my dad died I woke up in the middle of the night and I saw him standing over my bed, it was kind of comforting. It helps to think that they are watching over you, sometimes I think that it could never happen, but it is deffinately comforting to think that my dad isnt really missing everything in my life, even though he is.

haha.I forgot about the haunted mansion.

That's nice.I haven't had a family member visit. It's usually just random people that come here.lol

That must be awesome, yet freaky. To have a ghost portal.

My friends beach house is haunted. It used to be a hospice and there is a nurse that supposedly haunted their attic. Their house is very old and their bathroom fixtures are very creepy old. And at night, it's very creepy. I stayed over her place for a weekend and I will never stay there again. I was so scared! The ghost is nice, but it still scares me. I could picture her floating through the walls when I was trying to sleep. I kept my eyes clamped shut and I had my iPod on all night.

I'm not quite sure how I stand on this topic, to be honest with you.

On one hand, I can see where the idea would form. The human brain gives off a huge electrical charge. Where does that energy/power go once the brain stops thinking?

On the other hand, when something dies, it dies. So would not all parts of it die, including the consciousness?

On that train of thought, what is consciousness, anyway? It means "to be aware of ones self", correct? So if you are no longer alive, can you still be aware? Do dead people know they are dead?

I do, however, think it is quite safe to say that we will not know until we too are dead.

i believe in ghosts and spirits. ive had my experiences. they do frighten me, but that doesnt mean im not absolutely fascinated. i get those weird "feelings" and vibes from certain places and what not.

Some know they are dead and other's don't.My mom alway's tell's them to follow the light, because they don't know that they are dead.

Well she used to tell them when she was able to see em.

they say children can see so much more than any adult ever could. most people lose this vision once they hit puberty. and they arent just ghosts and spirits. some people believe children can see angels and faeries, houses elves and nature spirits. some people still see them.

All I can say to that is

Yes,I agree.
But I think a manor factor is that children usually believe in those type of thing's and some adults don't.If you don't believe and open yourself up their not going to show themselve's to you
