we had the same thing happen where we locked ourselves out but while we were in the states, and the international number we were given would not allow us to reset it -- we ended up making a few $$ phone calls to check our balance.
So, bank rang me within 48 hours like they said they would LOL to tell me that it's still not working and they don't know whats wrong with it or how to fix it

Oh..... that's just super So they don't know whats wrong and they don't know how to fix it So that leaves you....... and your card....... where? Not working with no idea when of if it will ever work again and with no solution to the problem. Interesting
I have a comm bank one I haven't used in a while...need to do some reorganising
