We are taking 2 babies end of september and I have booked the standard room. Should I upgrade to something larger (and much more expensive)? I just wonder if would be worth it to have an extra room for the babies to sleep in, or incase one is asleep and the other still awake.....

Traci, the rooms at the GF are pretty big. Your options in upgrading from a standard are to go with a lodge tower room, deluxe concierge or suite. The lodge tower will give you some more space, but no more privacy than what you have in a standard. Plus they only have garden views. I'd stay with what you have and put in a request for a corner room. This will give you a 2nd balcony and a few extra feet of space.

Traci, both times we have stayed at the GF we have been upgraded from garden view to lagoon view. The last time we had a room with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, worked out great for my two girls 7 & 9. Plus, a view of Cinderellas castle and wishes from our balcony each night. Having cute kids with you at check in helps ;)

The rooms at GF are larger than the newer resorts and you'll have plenty of room without any upgrades. Save your money for better things

Have a great time!

Thank you again for the insight...one more question...the ONLY reason I would even consider upgrading is for privacy. Since we have to request 2 cribs we should get a king (no guarantee) we also requested castle view (who doesn't, again no guarantee) The one thing I did want is the lagoon view so momma booked that!
SOOOOOO aside from the size of the room, what will give us additional privacy? Do any have parlors with doors that close? Or is a suite the only other option for any kind of privacy. It would just be nice if we could talk to each other once the babies fall asleep!

If upgrading isn't an option could we sit on the balcony and visit there? Do they have chairs?

Sorry I am so clueless about this (banging head against wall now)!

At the GF, for 2 seperate living areas, you need to upgrade to at least a one bedroom suite. If you want to take a look at this site, you'll see the different room layouts, http://www.the-grahams.net/gf/rooms.html . I'm not sure what the bed configuration is for lodge tower room. I don't know if they come with king beds, but you will definitely be giving up your MK view. All of them only have garden views.

The balconies are a very good size, with two chairs and dividers for some privacy from the other rooms. Corner rooms come with 2 balconies.
