While we were at the GF in December admiring the decorations, the 'tea' was going on. Anyone been? Thoughts?

Thanks!

I've been to afternoon tea several times - it's a very relaxing afternoon break. The food is tasty and we always leave full enough not to want to eat anymore for the rest of the day (of course that doesn't stop us).

We always order the grand tea which includes tea sandwiches, scones, pastries, your choice of tea, and a glass of champagne. I always choose chamomile tea, but I think they have about 12-15 different tea blends you can choose from.

I love the Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. It is a must do for me. I normally get the Buckingham Palace, the one without the champagne. I don't like champagne. I just have to wait 5 months to make my ADR and 10 months to actually go again.

When do they accept reservations? 180 mark or when you arrive on site? I'd love to go. Our next trip we will finally have the time to include it.

Is this something my DH would enjoy or should I stick to "the girls"! ;)

It does help. Thanks.

DH wants to do a couples spa treatment (his idea can you believe it) and I thought it would be great to finish it off with the tea.

Thanks again.
