Gf Question!

Hi! I have booked the Grand Floridian for our Dec. holdiays! we are all very excited!! I booked a Lagoon view room to take advantage of the fireworks display. My question is, does anybody know if there is a specific building that is better for this view, so I can request it??? I would really appreaciate any info also of this hotel! Thanks everyone!

I think you'd like Conch Key or Sago Cay. We stayed in a lagoon view room in Sago Cay for our honeymoon and had a great view of the 4th of July fireworks! Boca Chica also has great lagoon view rooms, but some are blocked by trees. When you make your request say that you want a lagoon view of the Magic Kingdom, unobstructed. Then state the building you prefer. Hope this helps!

Just stayed in Big Pine Key corner room 9147. Not only castle/ fireworks view but could see main street,space mountain, CR and the Poly.....great room at no extra charge over reg lagoon. CM did tell me next year the corner rooms (which are bigger and have 2 balconies )will be in seperate category and cost more but ARE NOT more $$ than any other lagoon view now.

If you REALLY want a Magic Kingdom view, ASK. Specifically. For a MK view. And if you can give specific room numbers, so much the better.

You might not get EXACTLY what you want, but you may get close.

The corner rooms are WONDERFUL. We had a corner room with two balconies in Conch back in '96 -- a superb view of the castle, fireworks and electric pagaent, and only steps away from the boat dock, which was a great little perk. Enjoy!!
