GF question for anyone...

Where exactly is the arcade at the GF? I know at the Beach Club its right down in the hub of the pool area which makes it nice. I haven't done too much at the GF and was just wondering if I decided to go where its at.

Also, any other thoughts or comments about the GF would be appreciated. I have never stayed but always wanted too. Thanks for all help.

The arcade is actually part of Gasparilla's Grill and Games - the GF's 24 food place. It's not very big, but I can't compare it to the BC's because I've never stayed at BC.

The GF is a beautiful resort. We've stayed in Sago Cay and Conch Key. Sago is close to Gasparilla's and the bus stop (there's a back way) but Conch is close to the water launch. But nothing is too far. It really is a beautiful resort. Have a great trip!!!!!

We stayed at the GF in april on our honeymoon.

It was fantastic, but we'll never spend that much money again.

The hotel was beautiful.

The grounds were gorgeous.

The pool with the slide and waterfall had the most amazing view.

We sat in our cabana and looked across the pool to watch the boats going back and forth on the lagoon.

It's was fun to see the ferry taking people to the MK, and to remember being on the ferry and dreaming about staying at the GF.

And there we were.......


I enjoyed sitting in the lobby.

In the daytime, I would sit and write out my postcards in one of the sitting areas.

At night we would sit and listen to the piano or the orchestra.

Several times we saw bridal parties, and I saw the cinderella coach go by with the little white horses.

We loved walking past the wedding pavilion over to the poly.

Oh, now you have me started.....lol I'll be daydreaming again.

Wow Karen...that sounds beautiful. As I said, I have never stayed there but wanted to for my honeymoon next May. We decided we were going to Hawaii instead so it was quite out of the way.

I have the BC already reserved but we have never stayed at the GF. I wonder how upset my boys (ages 9 and 12) would be if I switched us? I always look out for them because I want them to have a great time also.

Wow Geekchic....what a great report...and I haven't even gotten to the end yet!!! LOL

I felt like I was on vacation with you...really!
