I don't know if I should choose beach club or grand floridian. It will be me, my husband, my two duaghters one will be 14 at the time, a two year old, and an infant. We have looked into both of the resorts and are still unsure. We have never stayed at either, but we have eaten at both. (When you respond please give a reason why I should choose the resort.)

Tough call. I guess I would recommend GF if you plan to spend most of your time at MK. GF has the largest standard rooms onsite. We love the resort. Big consideration is when you plan to visit. Right now GF has major construction with the addition of DVC units.

Hi, If you are planning on spending a good deal of time at the pool, I would say the BC. The 14 year old will LOVE the BC side and the YC side has a great area for younger children to play with shallow water and sand. But the GF does have the advantage of the monorail with two young children :). Joan

I'd choose Beach Club; it's so fun and beautiful, within walking distance to TWO parks, and has Stormalong Bay! And if you have park hoppers, you can walk through Epcot to the monorail and take it over to MK, if you want!

i forgot to add that we will be going when the courtyard pool is under construction at GF, but we will be able to use the pool at POLY.

I love BC/YC and could give you 50 reasons to choose there... but with a 2 year old and and infant, the monorail makes lots of sense.

We've stayed at both and they're both great in their own way. The GF would be the most convenient if you will be spending alot of time at MK, while the BC is more convenient to Epcot and DHS. If room size is important, the rooms at the GF are bigger than those at the BC. As far as the pools go, we prefer SAB at the BC over the beach pool at the GF. But with that said, both resorts are great and you really can't go wrong with either one. I would choose the one that the theme/decor appeals to you the most. Good luck :wizard:.

I love both resorts but if you ever plan on heading back to your room for an afternoon nap, if you don't have a marina view at the GF, it might be noisy with the courtyard construction! The BC will also have lots more places to go for an evening stroll without having to depend on transportation.

Good luck with your decision. We had to make the same one and it was tough because both resorts are so special.

Beach Club. The pool, stormalong bay is awesome with a huge slide. Kids Love it. Also it's a big family place and has beaches and cream for some yummy burgers and sundaes. GF is very nice but more subdued plus there is construction going on now.

BC is so much more laid back. Especially with kids. I LOVE GF, don't get me wrong. But every time I walk into that gorgeous lobby, I feel like I'm in church and should whisper! ;) :littleangel:

Hands down BC...well I am a little biased towards BC since that is my family's favorite Deluxe Resort :goodvibes. Your 14 year old will LOVE SAB and I think you and DH will too. Also, the walk to Epcot is less then 5 minutes and you can either walk or take a Friendship boat to DHS. There is also many great food options around that area...our favorites are Cape May Cafe Character breakfast inside BC and Yachtsman's Steakhouse at YC. At night the BW is fun to go to watch the street performers and have either an ice cream cone or something sweet at the bakery. We have never stayed at GF but we do visit it each trip because we love 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, Narcoossee's, and my girls and I always do the Afternoon tea there. However, if we were to stay at a monorail resort we would either stay at the Poly or CR/BLT. Good luck deciding.
