GF main building

Hi Everyone!

I tried searching for my answer, but it wouldn't work. If this is a repost, I'd love it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Are all the rooms in GF main building concierge? It lists concierge and suites as floors 3-5, but are there any regular rooms?

I'm pretty sure there are no regular rooms in the main building. There's a small cage elevator that goes from the 1st to 2nd floor near the grand staircase. I remember seeing a bank of elevators on the second floor, but the had cardkey readers on them so I have always assumed that you need to have one of the high-priced rooms above to gain access. I always prefer the dormer rooms in the other buildings, myself!

Did you experience noise from a particular room? We've stayed in rooms over the lobby and over the marina and not one of them was a noisy room. I do try to avoid any rooms that are right off the lounge though, just because I imagine there would be a lot more foot traffic noise.

In the outer buildings, I've actually heard that Sago Cay in the back can be noisy with service vehicles and some rooms that are right by the pool can be noisy. Regardless of what hotel we stay in, that's usually one of my requests anyway.... "a quiet room".

Not true. We've done both outer lodge and RPC. Both rooms were equally quiet.
