My DD's favorite GF foods at Disney counter service restaurants are the Amy's mac & cheese and Amy's pizza, and although they didn't have Udi's last time we visited, I know she will love a cheeseburger or hot dog on an Udi's bun. Does anyone know which CS locations have been carrying the mac & cheese, pizza, and buns lately? Disney used to provide a list but they would not this time I contacted them. I'd like to have a good idea of where to go if she's hungry and the parks are crowded, rather than going from place to place trying to find something she would like. Is GF pasta offered at any CS locations, or just the table service restaurants? Thanks in advance!!

that will help. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten different answers depending on my persistence. It may work.

Hopefully, some here will chime in, but it may not be very current info.

Finally, you may have to ask on the spot at the parks. Talk to a manager if you are not getting good answers at a CS place.

If you have a car available then maybe you can pick up your own Amy products. Some, here order from Grocer.com and such places and you get food delivered to your room for a fee.

We feel your pain.

Like Bete said, it changes all the time. In the past month I have eaten at:

-Pinnochios at MK - still had Amy's Mac and Cheese and Pizza
-Pizza Planet at DHS - Amy's pizza also
-Columbia Harbor House at MK - UDI's rolls

Also, the tacos at the QS place at the Mexico Pavillion are corn and naturally GF

I don't know of any QS place with pasta, but if you want TS, Mama Melrose's at DHS is my personal favorite on property.

My experience seems to be that if a CS location sells burgers that they have GF hamburger buns and if a CS location sells hot dogs that they have GF hot dog buns.

FYI about the tacos in Mexico. Only the soft tacos are gluten free. The hard shells are deep fried in the same oil as gluten coated items leading to cross contamination in the cooking process. The chips are also not GF for the same reason.

I don't know which places sell Amy's because my kids can't eat it. As for pasta, I think the only CS location where you'll find GF pasta (other than resorts where you should be able to get it) is Sunshine Seasons and you'll have to wait a while for it as it's not pre-cooked meaning you have to wait for the chef to get a pot of water boiling and then Tinkyada pasta takes 20 minutes to cook once the water's boiling.

Columbia Harbour House and Restaurantasaurus are likely to be good options for Mac & Cheese and buns. Pizzafari is likely to have the pizza.

It looks like you're going to be there the week after you are, and my DD is likely to be looking for the same things. Could you post where you found them, please?

Yep, I can second the buns statement. I've been able to get the Udi's buns at most of the locations that have burgers or sandwiches. Some places (like Contempo Cafe) only have the Udi's bread though not the buns.

@Clanmcculloch: Last time I was at La Cantina they said the chips and soft tacos were safe...arggh! Why can't they just use different oil! Guess I'll be rethinking going there again. :(

The soft tacos were safe as they're not fried. It was the hard tacos that weren't safe. The chips I'm surprised they said were safe. The chef I spoke with said that some people feel comfortable with the hard shells and chips but he made sure I knew that they were fried in the same oil as other stuff so that I could make an informed decision. I guess not all chefs feel the same way. Gotta love consistency. DD14 did end up with stomach problems after that meal but she also had Kikkomann milk so I'm assuming it was the milk (the only two times that trip she had stomach problems was after drinking Kikkomann milk; we had decided to give it a try since some people who are gluten free seem to be able to drink it; I will NEVER recommend it to anybody with gluten issues even if they do claim it's gluten free, just like I'll never trust their supposedly gluten free soy sauce that's made with wheat but has the gluten somehow extracted).
