GF goodies at Disneyland

I know WDW carries french meadow brownies and some caramel corn but does DL carry an GF treats?

I'd be curious to find out what's available and how comparable Disneyland is to WDW for accommodating dietary restrictions. WDW is amazing, and I hope that Disneyland is just as good--we will probably we heading out there next year.

I love that you can prepare to go to WDW and DL wants you to wait to get there......w/ a picky eater it is so much harder this way.

We were at DL in February and I have to say they were super accomodating for the GF/CF diet that my daughters are on.

Storytellers Cafe at GCV was amazing. They did GF pancakes and pizza. The wait was not bad at all. At Goofy's Kitchen at the DL hotel the chef himself brought us GF brownies and cookies for dessert

We were able to get GF rolls inside CA.

I actually thought they were more attentive than WDW, even with not knowing in advance.

The chef at Goofy's Kitchen told me he would make GF pancakes for my son's bfast and also GF brownies/cookies. What brand or mix do they use for the cookies/brownies. My son is not GF but alot of GF foods accommodate his no artificials diet.

I'm not sure of the name or brand but it was at Taste Pilots Grill, near Soarin' in CA.

I've read on the Disneyland board that they're extremely accomodating. I'm an uuber planner who need to know ahead of time what I can get where (helps a lot when dealing with an autistic child) but DL wouldn't give me any info ahead of time. I was told that I have to ask for an allergy book at every single cart and CS location that I go to. That didn't cut it for me so we switched gears from planning a DLR trip to a WDW trip. Down the road I know we'll go to DL because my DSD and her DH live nearby but we'll only go to DL for a couple of days rather than up to a week. We'll book an ADR each day but we'll pack food for the rest of the day each day because my family just can't function this way. We'll be spending a lot less money at DL because of this difference in policy.

I'm kind of feeling the same way...I'm such a type A planner, that I need to know what's going on before hand (or have an idea). I'm not sure I could do a whole vacation on the fly. I mean allearsnet.com does have menus, but still...I like being able to talk to the chefs before hand to set my mind at ease I am still planning on DL, but maybe will have to realize I can't do as much planning as I like....but the planner in me will probably still go bonkers!
