Good news is I got a DC rate for a garden view room at the GF....the only problem is I'm getting mixed info as far as how many people are allowed in the room. Right now its me, DH, and my 3 DDs (one of whom will be under 3), but my sister will likely be joining us. Origianally when I made ressie at the rack rate, I informed the CM at CRO that we might be adding an additional adult, and she said no problem...5 in a room plus an infant is fine, it would just be an additional $25. When I asked the same question of the CM at the DC number, he told me that Garden View rooms only accomodate 4 in a room plus an infant and If I wanted to add an additional person, I'd need to either get 2 rooms or get a lagoon view room. This makes no sense and I wonder if the computer was showing the wrong info because this is the first time I've heard anything like this. I don't really want to pay extra for the lagoon view, especially since I'm not even sure she's going to be coming, nor do I want to get 2 rooms if I don't have to. I know 6 in a room sounds crowded, but I don't think it will be a problem for us because we're rarely all in the room at the same time, anyway.

Since I'm not even sure my sister will come I went ahead and reserved the room, but now I'm nervous that when I go to add her on, I won't be able to! This is so frustrating getting different answers from different people! Does anyone know what the rule is?

But either way, now I'm wondering if I'm going to have trouble adding my sister on since the ressies are through DC and apparently their computer is the one that says 5 in a room is a no-no. Also, I'm thinking about just not saying anything until we get down there and then tell them that we have an additional adult. That's what we've done in the past simply because we weren't sure until the last minute. What are they going to do....tell my sister that she has to sleep out in the lobby?

The regular garden view and lagoon view rooms are the same. Most have 2 queens and a daybed. Dormer rooms (top floor) do not have the daybed. We had a garden view one time and a lagoon view another time, 1st or 2nd floor and the room was the same, 2 queens and a daybed. You could get a crib for the under 3. Maybe call the GF front desk directly to verify the occupancy limits.

It sounds like the cm that said you needed a lagoon view room was trying to get you to pay more! Like the previous poster said, the gv and lv rooms are the same size with the exception to the dormer rooms which do not have a day bed and therefore can only sleep 4 adults. I've stayed in a gv room and a lv room......my lv room was a dormer with a king bed, but the gv room had 2 queens and a day bed and TONS of space. Don't worry about it. I think if your sister accompanies you there won't be a problem.
