What is the difference between the Sugar Loaf and Main Building Concierge? I know that they are in different places, but do they have different food/beverage offerings? Are the rooms all that different? Is there a big difference in the lounges? Do you think its worth the $$ to opt for the main building? I'm thinking about staying there for my 30th birthday in Feb, so any imput would be appreciated!

I have only stayed in RPC but from what I hear there is no difference anymore in the food and drink offerings. The RPC overlooks the main lobby and is beautiful (especially at Christmas time) but the lodge building is nice as well. Our room in the main building overlooked the castle and was really, really spectacular.

Yes, for those who know for sure, please tell us the difference (Tammy, where are you??!:cutie: On the official WDW website it says that the two concierges are different and the Sugar Loaf does not offer the 'evening offerings' and alcohol (champagne, cordials, ect.) but I have read elsewhere that they are now the same. I asked the CM and she just read the same statement that was on the website. Maybe I will call the Sugar Load concierges directly and ask.....:confused3

Just called the Sugar Loaf concierges and they told me the two are identical! He said it has been that way for almost a year.:cheer2:

Yes the offerings are the same. Seems like more than a year to me though. Anyway, rooms are also the same with the exception of tower rooms in SL and deluxe in RPC. There are also differences in the suites I'm sure. Finally there are honeymoon rooms in RPC...not sure if those are called suites or not. But if you book a regular room in SL it will be the same as a regular room in RPC.

The GF is being refurbished right now. No one has posted pictures of the new decor in RPC and SL hasn't been started at last report. So no one knows yet what the new decor will be like in those rooms.:confused3
