Well, I am pretty set on our schedule and I think it will suit us well, but I have a few trouble spots...

First, I'll preface by saying that we go to Disney because of the food as much, if not more than the rides. We have food allergies and Disney is the ONLY place I feel safe going on vacation where we won't end up getting sick! So, for us, the food is important. We can't just "wing it". We have to plan ahead or we don't have anything to eat!

So, that being said, we are also a group of 4 adults (sometimes 6) and 4 girls ages 4-7. So we are focusing on NON thrill rides. We're doing the character stuff and easy rides, no backtracking..easy kind of trip.

Okay, now you know us a bit
Here is our trouble!

1) We have a Blizzard Beach day at the end of NOVEMBER! I hope the weather cooperates. We don't have any meals planned for breakfast or lunch.
We will be out late the night before (wishes Grand 1 yacht cruise!)
SO...we will eat CS breakfast or Snack breakfast at hotel.
We will probably do the Lottawana Lodge at Blizzard Beach for lunch when we get hungry.

For supper, I had Spoodles planned at 7:30pm, but now I think we should cancel it! I read that they toss pizza dough into the air, and Bean is VERY allergic to the flour. I am afraid that would be asking for trouble with the open kitchen feel. So, I am thinking we could do MGM Osborne lights that night instead.

Okay, you're with me? There is not a place in MGM that I really want to eat with our food allergies. Nothing looks very good? I am not sure what to do that night?

Should we eat at Lottawana Lodge (burgers and fruit cups, no buns) and then try sneaking in something else before going to MGM? What should we do?

Some of the restaurants on our list that we are interested in are:
Ohana
Kona
Akerhaus
Garden Grill
Chef Mickeys
and while I did not like Boma for our food restrictions last time, I would be willing to try it again, or the Mara CS in the AKL again too. That is the closest to BB and our resort (CSR) and MGM.
What I really didn't like at Boma is that it's Buffet and everyone in the party starts eating while we wait for the Chef (and they were busy, it was slow) and then the Chef could make us something, which would take time...meanwhile...while we are waiting, the rest of our group is finishing their dessert! It just didn't work well! And Bean didn't even like the food much. We did like the Mara CS, though!

So....what should we do this day/night for food and activity? assuming we do blizzard beach from 10am until the girls get tired (I am guessing around or after lunch)?

2) Second area where I messed up is our Epcot day. I have us scheduled for 12:30 Biergarten and 5pm Kona! There is no way we will get to Kona and be hungry at 5 after eating a big lunch at 12:30 (likely to be in that restaurant until 1:30-2pm). What should we do this day? We'll be at Epcot at opening so we can get to Soarin' and we want to do a few main kid things there and one thing at World showcase for sure. Should I just bump the Biergarten lunch to an earlier time? The lunch is for my dh, by the way.
I am afraid we can't do this timing, but I don't know what would be better. We are not likely to do much that night after spending the day out and about. Probably back at the resort for the kids and me, anyway!

I guess those are our main ones for starters...let's stop there!

sorry to hear you have to tackel food allergies...not fun:headache: 3 of my 4 kids all have had milk intolernance as infants and young toddlers. I've given up all dairy and eggs twice to keep nursing, and I;m not going back full force...sorry for the tangent:rolleyes1

I don't waht advice I can offer on your first problem...just keep checking those menus and I've heard other posters say you can request gluten free...if that's the issue.

But for your Epcot dining issue. I'd so up your Biergarten ADV time at least an hour. and maybe bump back your Kona by 1/2 hr to an hour, you're going to need that travel time from Epcot to the Poly and just a note instead of hopping on the resort/MK mono you can walk from the TTC to the Great Ceremonial House in under 10 min, which is less than going around the track again...

Also I've heard the best, least waiting time on your table is a lunch ADR around that 11:30/45 am time frame.

Good Luck.

Thanks! What is TTC and what is the Great Ceremonial House?
Ticket and Transportation Center. That is main parking for Magic Kingdom and where you can get both the MK and Epcot monorails.

The Great Ceremonial House is the building at the Polynesian with the Registration Desk, all the restaurants and all the shops. The sleeping rooms are in the other buildings.
