GF Car rental ??

We will be staying at the GF in may and I am debating on whether to pick up a rental at the airport OR take ME to GF and later that day have DH get a rental. My decision is based on whether or not there is a rental desk at GF and if so what companies will either bring the car to us or pick up DH to go get the rental... anyone have any experience with this? I am really dreading waiting at the terminal to deal with the rental crap and get our bags etc... so hoping I can figure out another option but also do not want to much time to be consumed.

the only "in resort" car rentals at WDW are national & alamo at the dolphin.
both companies also operate out of the car care center (near MK). you can call for a shuttle to pick your DH up from the GF, & bring him to the CCC (reverse for drop off, or he can bring it to the dolphin).

we normally take ME to the BWVs, check in, walk across the bridge to the dolphin & pick up car (very, very easy: no airport congestion, luggage, gas or tolls to deal with). drop off is simply giving the car & keys to valet & getting a receipt in return.

fyi, there other car rental companies near DTD, we just like the ease of the dolphin (also, it may cost a few $'s more than MCO or DTD rentals, but imho, worth every penny).
