GF Cafe while 1900 under rehab...

Hi all! I made ressies for Teppanyaki for the date they are supposed to open back up after renovations. After thinking about it, I thought, I better have a back-up plan in case the date for re-opening changes. I tried for lecellier. No good. So then, we decided to go to GF Cafe. We had been there for Breakfast before and LOVED it, so why not try dinner? We got the ressies, and the CM said that b/c 1900 Park Fare would be under rehab at this time, the Characters would be appearing at GF Cafe...an unexpected perk . My question is... Is the menu the GF Cafe menu or the Buffet menu they had at 1900??

Neither from what I've read. It is to be a preplated meal.

Citricos will be serving breakfast and lunch with a GF Cafe type lunch during the rehab but will offer the Citricos menu for dinner.

I was wondering about the breafast menu as well. Dh wanted to do one TS breakfast, so we picked 1900. When we called for the ressie they told us about the switch to the GF cafe because of the remodel. I didn't think about the food until after we got off the phone. If it won't still be a buffet we'll want to cancel. We are planning on a big BF and then hitting the water parks that day, so a CS would be fine for an early dinner that night. If it's pre-plated that won't work for us.

Flagondry, breakfast will be preplated as well according to what I've read. I think the problem is that there is no buffet line in that restaurant. Even setting up a temporary one probably wouldn't work well since it is a rather narrow but deep room. And a temporary one would not look very magical anyway.

But preplated means all you can eat the last I knew. There won't be as much variety I suppose but you might want to wait until you hear what the menu consists of before deciding for sure.

We wanted to eat at GFC on our trip and I called a couple of times and double checked the info I was given and it goes like this...

GFC will be serving pre-plated meals consisting of normal 1900 fare(not all items will be avaialable)

Citricos will be serving normal GFC fare for breakfast and lunch.

Citricos will have it's normal menu for dinner

We were going to eat at GF Cafe for dinner in July since 1900 PF wasnt' going to be open and we decided to cancel the ressie because I don't like pre-plated dinners.
