DH and I are gluten-free and we are taking our DS to Disney for his 4th birthday. We will take him to MK on his birthday and plan on being there for RD since it's a non-recommended day. We will have APs, and we are driving and usually leave mid-day for a break at the resort, so we could easily eat anywhere. We got started planning later than I'd hoped and I'm trying to choose a TS restaurant that will 1) be fun for a little kid, preferably with some kind of interactive element and 2) have good options for GF food. It may end up being our only TS meal on this trip, so I want to choose wisely.

Right now, I'm thinking:
- Ohana breakfast. DS will like the characters and parade around the room, since he is a big ham. He would also like the games at dinner and the meat skewers (and Lapu Lapu) sound good to me.
- 1900 PF, not sure which meal. DS is semi-interested in Cinderella but prefers other characters. He does like to read the story almost every night right now. I've just heard such great things about Chef TJ that I'm feeling selfish and might want to eat there. :) I've also read the princesses love little boys, so he might get a kick out of that.
- T-Rex for dinner. Fun atmosphere, not sure about the food.

Chef Mickey's would be an option but I've read their food is so-so and they're completely booked anyway. I'm open to any suggestions you guys may have.

We've been to Ohana for dinner (not breakfast), but we thought the GF food was the greatest. The chef took very good care of us and treated us so well. I hear that Ohana is a very popular restaurant.

We are currently on an extended Disney trip and DH intolerant and DS has celiac so We have to to be very careful. So far we have ad many Gluten Free meals:

Yachtsman ( okay service)
Flying fish : EXCELLENT service and food
Kouzzina: very good service excellent food
Raglan Road: EXCELLENT service and food
Crystal Palace: breakfast, soggy frozen waffles :-(
Tokyo Dinning: good sushi
Prime Time 50's cafe: Awesome, be sure to tell them if you want the GF fried chicken when you check in so they can heat the oil.
Sci-fi: good food, super slow GF service
Leaning palms at typhoon lagoon, slow service good food.
Liberty Tree Tavern: good service, excellent GF food, DH wanted to lick the bowl of GF gravy clean.
Tusker house: noisy but surprisingly great GF, even the mini corn dogs were GF
Yak & Yeti: good service great GF food.

More to come.....

Are you telling me that I can get mini corn dogs again now that. Eat GF ???? Oh my goodness. Do they have a dedicated fryer for them? I wonder is Casey's corner has GF corndogs?

Stop it are there seriously Gf corn dogs? Disney corn dogs are one of my top 5 favorite foods but really ruin my day. I would be so happy to have a corn dog again!!

At Tusker house chef took my teen DS around and the mini corn dogs were GF. We were so happy with all the good GFFood at Tusker House.

I don't have that answer as my DS doesn't usually eat corn dogs, the chef just shared the information.

Thank you, everyone! I lucked out and got a 7:30 AM ADR for 'Ohana. Based on reviews I've read in this forum, I think we'll be happy. If we have more room in our budget I might check out Tusker House as well. Really appreciate all your help.
