Has anyone eaten at Geyser Point since they reopened with the super limited menu? Is it possible to order items off the "pool menu" while sitting in the lounge? If not, would it be super tacky to dine at the sit-down portion of the restaurant, but grab takeout from the pool window for the kids and other pickier members of our party? We love eating in the lounge, but the menu is super limited right now (in my opinion the bison burger is all that matters, but unfortunately some in my family would disagree!).

I haven't been yet, but just watched a Tim Tracker video and in addition to the default lounge menu, there is another lunch/ dinner menu on the drop down in MDE with a wider selection. If I hadn't seen the video, I never would have known

Thanks, I’ll have to find that video. So there is an open air sit down restaurant (the lounge) which has a separate menu from the pool area, self-service takeout window. I’ve always assumed that you can only order off the lounge menu when eating in the lounge, but the takeout window is right there...I assume it’s all the same kitchen.

I am a little confused by this post. I was there a few weeks ago and there is no distinct pool area and lounge area. It’s an outdoor seated restaurant located between the two pools but you can order to go at the bar. And I honestly only saw people order to go drinks, not food.

Update: just looked this up and now I know why I was confused, the window is currently not open (and I believe blocked by things which is why it’s not visible to guests). GP is definitely working with a smaller amount of employees as well so that’s likely why. So I guess the pool menu window is not an option right now anyways since the pool window is not operational so the only two options are the lounge and lunch/dinner menus which you order inside while seated.

Thank you! The lunch/dinner menu is typically what you order at the window. The "lounge" menu is what they give you when you eat in the restaurant area (and the lounge menu is normally more robust than it is currently). So, it sounds like you can order off both menus when seated, which would be FANTASTIC news!

Yes, you can order off both! For happy hours we just ordered off the lounge menu but another day we ordered off both the lounge and lunch menu. Good to know that they are usually separate though! DH loved WL so we will likely stay there again in the future.

Precovid, we were able to order from both menus when we were seated at Geyser Point last summer. The dinner menu was closing in 15 minutes, so if we wanted anything from that menu we needed to order quickly. We got stuff from both menus. (They had a walk up/takeout window for the lunch/dinner grill menu precovid, which is the part that sounds closed right now.)

Perfect, thank you!
