Geyser Point during covid-19

We are staying at BWV and want to drive to WL for lunch at GP this week. I see that they don't have mobile order or reservations . Will they let us in to park the car and go in to eat?

@biochemgirl hard to say what they are doing moving forward, but the reports have been that driving with your car without a reservation might get you turned away. But taking Disney transportation over gets you right in. Go figure. But to be safe if you can take Disney transport I'd do that. Maybe drive to TTC and then take a boat/bus over.

You will probably run into issues this week. With most resorts at capacity, or very near, for Thanksgiving week I see them being even more strict with parking. And especially for a park with a “special” form of transportation to a park. You’ll be much safer bussing or boating to WL.

I was able to do it in August. Probably depends on guard. I to,d guard we were staying at Poly and wanted to eat at Geyser Point. He lookedat my I’d and let us in. i would think as the parks increase capacity it will be more difficult to get in without staying there or having an ADR. I’m sure a lot of people would try to park at resorts to save the parking fee or get closer to park if they didn’t.

It's a lot busier now than in August. That could be a stopper.

We checked in this week. Had to give name which was on a list and show ID at the guard shack before being let through.

When we went in mid-October they said you needed to be either staying at the resort of be a DVC member. We were able to show our DVC card and get in to eat at Geyser Point. It was great for outdoor dining and we got to watch the football game!
