Going 4/23 - 4/27 for our (my son and I) first trip to Disney. I have read extensively through all the threads and believe we are prepared!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the weather and crowds will be like during the week we go...the last week of April.

Lynne,
We have been during this time and the weather was great. You may need a light jacket at night when the sun goes down, but it will be warm enough during the day for swimming. You may get a few rain showers but they don't last long, Have a blast;)

We are heading down there at that time too. I checked the charts for crowd levels and one says a 2 out of 11 the other gives it a 4 out of 10, so, it is looking like it should be very good for us. I also have been checking the availability of the Grand Villas and there are still some available, which surprises me.

I have friends down there this week and it's an 11 out of 11. Glad I'm going when I am.

Being from NH, the weather will be hot in my opinion! We will have light jackets or sweaters that we'll need to get to Logan, and I'll wear capris but, we are not bringing anything else except shorts and tee shirts. Plus a rain poncho for the park.

I hope you have a great time.

It was in the 90's the last time we went to Orlando, which was the last week of April/first week of May. Crowds weren't bad at all, but still good idea to get the more popular rides out of the way early and use fast pass. We missed out on Soarin' as we waited too long and there wasn't any more fast passes left.

Hi!!! we are headed back in April. We've been going during the month of April, particularly the end since 2008.

Weather is hot..hotter as May approaches. Water Parks are a relief! Crowds are moderate. We've gone for a week to 10 days during our vacations. We normally do two theme park days and rest with a Water Park in on the third day to cool off and slow things down and then resume with theme parks, leaving the last day before we leave for the second water park. We no longer use Park Hoppers since we know our way around.

Have a great time on your family vacation!!!

Crowds should be fine ~ and the weather will be hot. In the 90's most likely and getting humid. It's already hot here ~ in the mid 80's every day.

Have fun!
