Any former guests want me to list them as a referral?

And want to tell me I'm doing the right thing?

We're going for 2 weeks next summer and we're going with Romancing the Mouse because the whole approach just makes me feel more comfortable than other options. Also... Windsor Hills or Windsor Palms? I'm thinking WH, but the tub at WP is so tempting. I love soaking in the tub. I guess there's a hot tub at WH....

I would love to see some feedback on them as well. I too like their approach.. I am trying to choose between them and WBC. And praying we get to go and nothing else comes up lol Have your tried searching the boards for them? Maybe someone else has posted a review?

The owners, Mark and Holly, are great. The WH's homes are in a great location. We have stayed with them a half dozen times. It is so refreshing dealing with owners who are there to help verses some management company five miles out on 192(which we have experienced as well). I would highly recommend them. Enjoy your trip!

We've stayed with RtM 3 times--we really like them. We consider the 4BR WH house "ours", but we're happy to let you rent it for a week while we're not there.

We stayed for 2 weeks last month, and had a great time.

I would be happy to answer any specific questions--I can say, I never missed having a soaking tub, but I don't have one, either. We did use the hot tub outside.

Wh is slightly closer to WDW than WP, but really, not enough to make much difference (maybe 1/2 mile?). And WH has more resort-like amenities in the clubhouse, like a game room, pool tables, fancy pool, etc. They also have a playground, basketball courts, etc.

I'm not sure what your specific concerns are, but I will tell you this: After one stay in the house, my kids unanimously voted to sell DVC and stay offsite from now on. I know it's DIS heresy, but it's what happened. All 4 of them absolutely love, love, LOVE that house! Their favorite feature is the private pool--you don't know how many times they'll be in a theme park, having a good time, but will want to go back for a swim.

Beyond that:

DD16 likes having a private bathroom and free wi-fi. We joke that, if she had a mini-fridge in her room, we'd never see her. She runs cross-country and has to train on vacation--I feel perfectly comfortable letting her run in WH.

DS14 likes the free videogame and movie rentals. he enjoys his own room (shares at home) with a big bed--I don't think the bathroom is a big draw for him.

DD8 and DS5 like sharing a room, since they don't at home (well, my sons share). and the pool--did I mention the pool?

Dh and I like being able to put the little guys to bed, and watch tv or enjoy an adult beverage. It's nice to be able to let each person have space and do their own thing. We enjoy having full kitchen and laundry facilities--I'm on vacation, too, so I don't cook elaborate meals, but it's so easy to throw in some laundry or make sandwiches.

It just feels like a HOME--only nicer than our own home, because it's not cluttered and I don't have to worry about maintenance.

We just stayed in their Windsor Palms home about a month ago. (first time off site) When we booked we had told them that our preference was Windsor Hills because we thought we would use the pool and other clubhouse facilities but they were already booked. As it turned out, we were completely happy with Windsor Palms home - didn't even venture to the clubhouse anyways.
Our first reaction when we walked in the door was that the pictures did not do it justice. The home was big, clean and tastefully decorated. We were 2 families of 4 and there was plenty of room for everyone.
When we arrived, Holly spent time with us and recommended local restaurants, grocery stores etc. There were cookies, muffins, orange juice and fresh flowers in the home.
We made good use of the pool. It was so nice that the kids could swim whenever they wanted and when they went to bed, we adults enjoyed the hot tub and pool.
I found their home through recommendations on the Dis and was so happy that we chose this one. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
