Getting your name embroidered

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get your name embroidered on clothing in the park? Does it have to be merchandise purchased in the park or can it be from the Disney Store?

I just bought my daughter the cutest Jean Jacket with several princesses on the back. I would love to get her name embroidered on it, and thought it may be possible somewhere in the park - does anyone have any details they could pass along? Thanks!

There's a shop in MGM that does embroidery, but I think it's only on items you have purchased in the shop.

when you walk into the magic kingdom...after the ticket booths etc there is an embroidery shop directly in front of you to the right...its basically one of the first shops on main street..I think they would be will to embroider your daughters name for a few bucks..my brother got a mickey hat embroiderd there! good luck

The only place that embroiders on clothes is the shop at MGM. It must be an item purchased at WDW so that if there is a problem they can get a replacement. They do have a few items in the store there but the selection isn't very good. You will have your choice of fonts for differing prices.

Ask around and you probably know someone who has a personal embroidery machine. I know I charge by the size of the design and the stitch count. It shouldn't cost more than about $5 to have it done.
