Ok I just need to vent my worries for a bit......I leave for my 5 yr anniversary :cloud9: trip in 4 days.....we'll be gone for 5 days, 6 including travel time. The problem is I start my summer class tomorrow [4 day mark] and I will have 3 days to get a week and a half's worth of work done. :headache: Anyone on here who's taken a summer course will know how much work is piled into a very short period of time! :scared1: I have an orientation with my teacher tomorrow night and am hoping I can explain the situation to her and hopefully we can work somthing out so I won't have to drop the class!:confused3 I need this one for work so I can get a raise and we all know those are good! :cool1: I guess i'm just starting to panick that I won't be able to keep up and i'll end up failing the class........I keep telling myself it's just an F, worse case scenario is I'll need to retake the course or somthing similar for work and won't get the raise for another semester...:sad2: ....ok breathe.........

O.k. Take a deep breath.
Summer classes do cram a lot of info into a short amount of time but it will be managable! You may just have to pull a few all-nighters once you get back. Also, getting a little behind does not equate to failing. There are grades other than A's and F's. It took me years to realize that a B is not a failing grade. You will probably not need to present your grade to your employer, just certification that you completed the class.

Enjoy your anniversary. Cut a corner. :rolleyes1 and try to relax.

Employers really could careless in most circunstances about what your grades are, if you are in college, grad schools do. The extra effort of many hours usually pays off and shows dedication..just a few thoughts.
Good luck,

Celebrate your anniversary with your husband. I promise you that the special time you spend with your spouse is much more important than any amount of money.

Thanks for everyones encouragement! Haha Tink thanks [he's the DBF not DH, but i'm kinda hoping he'll want the job]:cool1: After talking with my teacher and looking over the course expectations, due dates, and assignments I decided to drop the class and retake it in the Fall. This means I won't get my raise until January but i'm ok with that! It would have simply been too hard to get all the work done I needed by thurs. Now I get to relax and enjoy the final countdown until my trip! Oh sooo happy!!!!!:goodvibes
