Getting wet

We leave in less than a week! As I inventory my summer wardrobe in preparation for packing I realize that I wear A LOT of white. Will I only get wet at MK on SM and AK on KRR? Last trip was in 2000, but I don't recall any soakers @ Epcot or MGM can anyone tell me if my memory serves me correct? Thanks!

You can pretty much count on getting soaked to the skin on KRR. Rarely you get away dryish but not often. Splashh in that heat they will probably have the jets on strong so getting wet it a good possibility there too. Epcot you'd have to run though the little fountains. You might get a drop or two at Maeilstrom, no more. DOn't recall any at MGM.

We went on KRR and the sign says you will get wet, you may get soaked. We were the soaked family!!!! Right before the drop is where we were stopped - my husband and I looked at each other and there was nothing we could do. It was in the beginning of Nov. and later that night at dinner the band in my shorts was still wet!!! We were ringing out our clothes, my son was soaked to the bone. But we had fun, and I look forward to doing it again. I find that in Splash Mountain, you don't get that wet, expect if while you are going around the bend to go up, if there is a flume coming down their water hits you. Again, sometimes, I get wet other times I don't. Heck there can be a pool of water and the sit and you are already wet before the ride starts!

I can't think of anything at Epcot that you would get soaked on at all....have a great trip!!

If you sit in the first few rows at Fantasmic, you will get SOAKED.

I can only think of the two rides.


Oh and on POTC if you are in the front of the boat you MAY get a few little drops but it's nothing

keep in mind you might get wet if it downpours, which it usually does atleast once per trip!

Thanks batricia, I hadn't thought about the rain! It rained at some point every day on our trip in June, 2000. I'll make sure to keep a poncho in my bag at all times and wear my white tops to Epcot and MGM.
