Getting to Universal on day 1

There are too many variances that could make you late to make it worthwhile. The airplane could be late leaving the UK, the flightpath might be a longer way around due to the atmosphere up high for one reason or another, hurricane might be coming in over Florida, so landing might be delayed until safe, huge queues at immigration, delays with baggage coming off flight... the list is endless.

Absolutely anything could happen, and you will be complete unable to control any of it. All you'll be able to do is worry and stress that you're not going to make it in time, and that can't make for a good 8hr flight! :scared1:

I would save it for another visit. Our flights usually land just a little later than yours, and over the last 5 years, we have arrived at the hotel to check-in anywhere from 6pm to 6am the following morning!

if you got yourself on the TNA guest list - you would probably be able to get in and still arrive later. The TNA standby queue is extremely busy and there is no guarantee that you'll get in. They endeavour to get everyone on the guest list in first before letting anyone in the standby line in.

To get on the TNA guest list email tnaaudience@hotmail.com and they will add you.

It's do-able in a hire car, if you are wise you can get through the airport quickly, leave the luggage in the car until after the show, then check in.

No chance in a taxi.
