We are staying at the pop century.
I have been reading all these great reviews of resort restaurants.
So I have made some reservations at the restaurants.
We have reservations at the Polynesian and Animal Lodge.

My question is:
How hard is it to get from pop century to the other resorts?
Do we take a bus from the pop?
Do we go to Magic kingdom and then take another bus?

Thanks!

To get to the Poly the best route is to take the bus to the MK and then take the resort loop monorail. Getting back just involves reversing the route. To get to AKL take the bus from Pop to AK and then take the AKL bus ( a five minute ride). Getting back to Pop might be trickier since AK usually closes early. If it's closed when you finish your dinner at AKL I'd take the bus to Downtown Disney and then catch a Pop bus. We really haven't had a problem at all with these kind of arrangements. We look at it as part of the Disney Adventure.

different on the AKL visit is choose either DHS or Epcot as the transit point to POP. DTD has three separate stops and can take a little longer though it is the ideal late night solution.

Since Pop is quite close to AKL I would get a taxi between them (unless during the day and then I would do the bus to AK, then on to AKL thing).

As far as the Poly is concerned, catchng a bus to MK and then the monrail (or a bus) to the Poly is your best bet.

In my experience, any route which incorporates DTD will add delays to your journey since I've found the buses from DTD to be incredibly slow/infrequent (except maybe later on at night)

I use to do all the bus, momo-rail and boat hopping (takes up too much time)but it is so much easier to just drive the rental car to wherever you want to go (parts, resorts and DTD) and we usually stay at POP and that it pretty much centrally located. For the MK though it is easier to take the resort bus cause it take you real close to the front gate.

Getting to the Poly is pretty easy. As posted above, just take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, and hop the monorail.

Getting to AKL has a few options. Personally, I'd take a bus to DHS and then hop the bus to AKL. I don't know if it's any quicker than changing buses at Animal Kingdom, but it seems quicker.
